Exchange 70 m³ of water for 7 MWh of electricity
Where could such an example come from? Tomato cultivation in Jordan. Jordan has only 63 m³ of renewable water per inhabitant per year.
For a Central European household, 7,000 kWh of electricity would be around €2,100 and the water with the sewer fee would be €350. A really bad trade-off. But prices are not the same everywhere. With other prices, it could be a very good barter deal. At €10 for a cubic meter of water and 5 cents per kWh of electricity, the trade-off is €700 for the water vs. €350 for the electricity.
Where could such an example come from? Tomato cultivation in Jordan. Jordan has only 63 m³ of renewable water per year per inhabitant. 70 m³ of water to grow 1 ton of tomatoes? Rather very difficult. But with Vertical Gardening Aeroponic, ventilation with heat and moisture recovery from exhaust air, we could get into the region of 15 m² of water per t of tomatoes.
To avoid having to circulate huge amounts of air through the greenhouse so that the tomatoes extract CO2 for growth, you can also blow the CO2 directly into the greenhouse, preferably 800 ppm CO2. Very minimal air exchange, so little that the oxygen content rises to 25%. If you also recycle the water circulating in the system, you can reduce water consumption from 70 to 2 m³. This water saving only costs a little electricity.
In my youth I always heard "No disposable aluminum cans, aluminum requires 16 kWh of electricity per kg", in this example we have tomatoes with 7 kWh of electricity per kg.

From hunter-gatherer to agriculture
|
Today, 6,000 m² of agricultural land is required per person. This land requirement has been slightly optimized in the last 10,000 years. Previously, as hunter-gatherers, people needed around 2 orders of magnitude more land per person.
Are we facing the next revolution in space requirements? A distinction must be made between grazing on simple grassland and intensive agriculture. While meadows are not disturbing, fields of intensive agriculture are biological deserts, where only the crop stands for a short time.
In the case of land for intensive agriculture, it could again be a matter of two orders of magnitude.

I am not going to name any of the operators of such campaigns. They are the usual suspects. How valuable farmland is, we will starve if we build on farmland. The building shame of being ashamed to build something new. All these campaigns are based on pure misanthropy and ignoring the facts. With today's technology and price trends, even Jordan can become self-sufficient in food.

GEMINI design from 2021 with integrated glass house

These anti-human campaigns led to the design of a GEMINI house with an integrated glass house in 2021.
This design was abandoned in 2022 due to the shading caused by the house and roof, which would have halved the amount of light entering the greenhouse on cloudy days in winter. It would probably have produced quite a considerable amount of food for the residents. Well beyond the "I have my own vegetable garden" hobby, anyway.

The planetary restoration mentality

Planetary cleanup back to 350 ppm CO2 means about 47,000 TWh of electricity to filter 1 ppm CO2 from the atmosphere and recycle it into carbon and oxygen. Who can afford that? Only a rich human race, 10 billion people in prosperity can do it. One million km² of energy-optimized settlement areas alone should contribute 150,000 TWh for the necessary electricity for world-wide prosperity and planetary restoration.

One new shareholder said "Me with my very modest investment", but €400 times €1,000 is also €400,000 for all investments up to the creation of the prototype.
